Starry Skies Tennessee
Preserving, protecting and restoring our natural night sky

Cities in Tennessee have sprawled outward, erasing the starry sky with wasted upward light. What do the colors mean? A natural sky on this map would be dark grey. Pickett State Park can be seen in blue along the eastern top. Zoom in to find your location!

Dark Sky Advocates are local Dark Sky members who have information to share about how and why we need to work to make our skies starry again.
